The Role

Mac’s II Agencies is seeking an Industrial & OEM focused outside sales representative to support our electrical division. The successful candidate will work closely with distributor partners to bring cohesive solutions to market, while also calling directly on Industrial end users, contractors, OEMs, and engineers. This role is focused building strong customer relationships, solving problems for our customers, and demonstrating the unique value of Mac’s II and our lineup of premier manufacturer partners.

  • This role will be focused in the Lower Mainland, though some travel may be required.
 
Responsibilities

  • Generating demand for our products and solutions in different ways, including client meetings, product training, lunch & learns and similar with our distributor, OEM, Industrial contractor, and end-user customers.
  • Work creatively with our vendor partners and other in-house technical experts to provide the right product solutions for our customers.
  •  Commit to continual learning and education around new products and solutions for our customers.
  • Develop long-term relationships with our vendor partners and customers.
  • In conjunction with our marketing team, design and implement creative new sales promotions and product marketing campaigns 
  • Manage and grow a strong existing customer base
  • Utilize and contribute to our CRM platform in order to improve our customer’s experience and our understanding of their business needs.
  • Complete sales calls at industrial facilities and project sites in a safe and professional manner.

Skills & Requirements 
  • High energy and a determined problem solver
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Industrial Electrical, Control/Automation, or trades experience is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) is an asset

Compensation

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
